About the Kirtan Competition
Raags of Gurbani is the largest Gurbani Kirtan competition in Canada, being held for the first time ever. The purpose of this event is to provide a prestigious platform for Sikh youth, empowering them to grow in Sikhi, build confidence, and showcase their talent. Additionally, this initiative aims to revive and globally promote the traditional Raag-based Gurbani Kirtan as established by Guru Sahib, preserving its rich musical and spiritual heritage.

Participants may accompany, but the main participant must fall within the required age group.
Participation Limit & Auditions
To maintain a high standard and allow sufficient time for all performances, only the top 16 jathas from each age group (Junior and Senior) will be selected to compete in the final event.
Depending on the number of applications received, preliminary auditions may be required to shortlist the top jathas. Audition details will be communicated if necessary.
